1) Professional Reputation

NRQPIC llc looks to extend endorsement & continuing education privileges to schools and businesses with an established and respected presence in their community with a history (Five years or more) of successfully staffing interpreters for accommodation to ADA protected consumers of communication accommodations and students who require such accommodations.

Schools and businesses which meet the above description are welcome to contact interpreters4accommodation@gmail.com with “privilege inquiry” in the subject line. The body of the email should describe everything that causes the inquiring organization to meet the above description. Contact information should be provided for the individual authorized to enter and fulfill business contracts on the organization’s behalf.

Once a school or business has established such an endorsing relationship with NRQPIC llc, and authorized specific representatives will be named by organization to answer on behalf of the organization. Authorized representatives will have pledged under oath on notarized documents to provide honest feedback granting or denying their organization’s endorsement testifying truthfully about each applicant’s ability and/or inability under such organization’s history of supervised employment to satisfy all the requirements set forth by NRQPIC llc to consider granting certification.

2) Ethical practices

Does the applying paid interpreter have a history behaving ethically? Has the endorsing employer received accolades from the ADA protected consumers for interpreting services the applicant has provided under endorsing agency’s supervision? Conversely, does the interpreter have a history of ethical breaches and complaints within the community they serve?

3) Duration

Has the applicant worked in an ongoing relationship for endorsing organization as a paid interpreter for accommodation for a minimum of 2 years with appropriate tax forms filed to IRS supporting such employment?

4) Evidence of wages actually earned for interpreting for accommodation services

Eligible applicants can satisfy the requirements for strictly Interpreting earnings by earning a minimum of $10,000 per year for a minimum of two years within five years prior to application from the same NRQPIC llc approved-for-issuing-endorsements school or agency.
